Delete account

In the app

1. Open CELL and tap your profile at the bottom.
2. Open Settings and tap “Delete account” at the very bottom.
3. Confirm with your password.

Your account is deleted immediately and permanently.

Without the app

Email us from your account's email address at datenschutz@cellsocial.de with the subject “Delete account”. We will delete your account within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

Your profile, your posts with comments, stories, highlights and story archive, friendships, notifications, block list and your login. Also all photos, videos and voice messages you uploaded – including in chats – and your verification data.

What remains

Text messages you sent to others remain visible to them, shown as sent by “Deleted account”. Reports and support requests are kept only as long as needed to process them.
